Safeguarding Statement

Mighty Generation Network CIC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We recognise our responsibility to take all reasonable steps to protect individuals from harm, abuse, neglect or exploitation.

The organisation will:

• Adopt and implement a robust safeguarding policy aligned with UK safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance
• Appoint a designated safeguarding lead responsible for oversight and reporting
• Ensure all staff, volunteers and trustees receive appropriate safeguarding training
• Carry out safer recruitment practices, including DBS checks where required
• Provide clear procedures for reporting, recording and responding to safeguarding concerns

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and all those involved in the organisation are expected to uphold the highest standards of care and accountability.
